Keep Zeal Alive: Thoughts on Our Current Distress

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow [h]we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Coronavirus is here. For us, this is a time of uncertainty. In the midst of all this, let's be reminded of this fact: tomorrow is not guaranteed. Ultimately we must trust God no matter come what may. Trust Him with all our all. Don't lean on our own understanding but in times of distress lean upon God (Proverbs 3:3-5). Remember God knows our needs and will provide.  Just keep seeking His kingdom above all (Matthew 6:31-34). Keep our eyes focused on saving souls (Matthew 28:19-20).
The people who died from this: were they truly ready to face Almighty God? We will all one day die (Hebrews 9:27). Are we ready?
