Gospel Wednesday: 1 Thessalonians Chapter 3: Love

1 Thessalonians Chapter 3 Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left in Athens alone, and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith, that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain. But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also to see you— therefore, brethren, in all our affliction and distress we were comforted concerning you by your faith. For now we live, if you stand fast

Sacred Truth Friday: Heavenly Treasure

Today's Devo Heavenly Treasure Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16‭-‬21 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/luk.12.16-21.NKJV Don't be like the rich fool. Gospel Wednesday: 1 Thessalonians Chapter 2: Preach the Gospel

2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain. But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit. But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness— God is witness. Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. For you remember, brethren, our l

What Does the Scripture Say? Answering Denominational Doctrines Saved by Faith Alone Watched another video. And the truth was spoken. The subject was Answering Denominational Doctrines: Saved by Faith Alone. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/heb.11.6.NKJV Yes we must faith. Without faith, we can't please God. Sacred Truth Friday: Christ the Head

Today's Devo And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:22‭-‬23 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/eph.1.22-23.NKJV God gave Christ to be head over the church. Gospel Wednesday: 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1: Don't Give Up

We are now in the book of 1 Thessalonians. 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every

What Does the Scripture Say: Once Saved Always Saved

Every Saturday I'll be posting What Does the Scripture Say posts. This is more important than Uplifting Songs Saturday. Lost souls need to hear the truth. Watched a video on Answering Denominational Doctrines: Once Saved Always Saved via The Gospel of Christ app for Android.  And Biblical truth was spoken on the subject. Back to the Truth Answering Denominational Doctrines Once Saved Always Saved Watched a video on the above title through the TGOC app for Android. And the Bible proves once saved, always saved to be a false doctrine. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/gal.5.4.NKJV We can sin in such a way we lose our salvation. Sacred Truth Friday: His Word

Today's Devo For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/heb.4.12.NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/2ti.3.16-17.NKJV God's Word is powerful. Can reveal our secret thoughts and motives. It is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer

Gospel Wednesday: Colossians Chapter 4: Prayer

Colossians Chapter 4 Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Tychicus, a beloved brother, faithful minister, and fellow servant in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me. I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may know your circumstances and comfort your hearts, with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things which are happening here. Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with Mark the cousin of Barnabas (abo
