Sacred Truth Friday: Behave Myself Wisely

Today's Devo

And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.

1 Samuel 18:14 KJV

Behave myself wisely in all my ways. God Will be with me, and us me to bless others.

Poet's Corner Thursday: Glory! Glory to the Highest!

Glory! Glory to the Highest!

Give God the glory

He lives to reign

His only Son Jesus

Bore all our stains

Glory! Glory to the highest!

His beauty and grace all surrounds us

Glory! Glory to the highest!

Over all His foes He will triumph!

Holy! Holy! Holy!

His angels cry

His ways are noble

His thoughts are high

Oh, seeks Him always

He bids us draw near

For the God of gods

Have reverent fear

Praise Him today, tomorrow

And forever

He controls the world

And will leave us never

Far beyond the starry sky

He's on His throne

Through His Holy Word

He makes His mind known

Of His Holy kingdom

There is no end

His compassion and love

On us descends

Refrain 2x's at end of song

Gospel Wednesday: 1 Corinthians Chapter 12: Baptism

1 Corinthians Chapter 12

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the inte…

Go over each one again now with the pokey side of the mallet. Be gentle. You don’t want to tear the meat.

Sprinkle with the salt and set aside.

Mix the flour with the pepper and put it on a plate.

Beat the eggs well in a shallow bowl.

Crush the crackers and put them on a plate.

Now we bread. Dip each steak in this order: egg, flour, egg, crackers.
