Sacred Truth Friday: Deep Roots

For today's devo

Psalm 1:2-3
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Each and every day, as New Testament Christians, we should spend time in God's Word. Let it take root deep in our lives and produce spiritual fruit. His Word is the only source of true wisdom and direction for our lives. And when we're going through hard times, His Word brings us comfort and peace. Let's make it our goal to read His Word each and every day.
