This church started in the late 1980s to early 1990s in Fort Worth, TX or Nashville. Either Joann Yates Cash (Johnny Cash's sister) or Jeff and Sherry Copenhaver started it.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The Cowboy church has a honky tonk atmosphere: barn for a church, riding arena, cattle tank for bapistry, live country band, giant neon lit jukebox in place of a cross, the pastor dresses in cowboy hat, boots, and a string tie. This is a blasphemous atmosphere.
The headquarters for the Cowboy church is in one of two places: Nashville, TN or Weatherford, TX.
But the headquarters for the Lord's church is in Heaven.
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
