Here He Comes


Here He comes with power from on high

His majesty from sea to shining sea

Altogether Holy and beautiful is he

Bringing hope that transfigures you and me


Here He comes with wisdom divine from the start

His knowledge, through His Word, to us to impart

His commandments are just and pure

Making our pathways stable and sure


Here He comes with strength for the weak and weary soul

His great, almighty might untold

He supplies all we need

On His providence we all feed


Here He comes with grace for all who sin

Willing to pardon, willing to let us in

Submit to His redemption plan

On the Gospel forever stand


Here He comes with love to bestow

Giving us comfort as we onward go

His grace and mercy reaching far and wide

Leading us to the heavenly tide
