Sacred Truth Friday: Be Still

Today's devo

Psalm 46:8,10
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD , what desolations he hath made in the earth.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

When we feel burdened, discouraged, disheartened, great sorrow, the best thing to do is be still before God and surrender our burdens to Him. Let Him ease our pain and comfort us. The result of being still before Him will be peace, having our hearts comforted, and great hope, no matter what we're going through.

So if you're going through hard times, take heart. Be still before Him and surrender all.
