Give Thanks to God Above 


Give thanks to God above

His blessings to behold

Every day showers of love

With many graces untold


He opens wide heaven's door

Bringing blessings on the rich and poor

So give praise to His ever Holy Name

Make known the world over His glory and fame


Every day is a precious gift

Sent from the Father of true holy light

So in praise and adoration your voices lift

Unto the God of matchless strength and might


Think of His redemption plan

Bringing salvation to all

On His mercy forever stand

He catches the faithful when they fall


Treasure the small moments always

Bask  in the warm  sun light

Of His loving gracious ways

One day He'll make all things right


Practice the art of gratitude

With a a thankful attitude

Give thanks to the God of grace

As He shelters you in His warm embrace


Give thanks to God above

His blessings to behold

Every day showers of love
