What Does The Scripture Say: The Rapture

The Rapture

The rapture not mentioned in the Bible. Even Hal Lindsay in his book admitted the rapture is not in the Bible.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, - 1 Timothy 4:1 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Timothy4:1&version=NKJV

This is a doctrine of demons.

And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” - Matthew 15:9 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew15:9&version=NKJV

It's a doctrine of men.

Christians will be taken secretly by Jesus to heaven. Then begins the 7 year tribulation. This whole doctrine is false.

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. - 2 John 1:9 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2John1:9&version=NKJV

This doctrine goes beyond the doctrine of Christ.

It is a strange doctrine.

1. 2nd coming of Christ after the rapture

I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. - Acts 24:15 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts24:15&version=NKJV
One resurrection. Both of the just and unjust.

2. Rapture will be secret.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Thessalonians4:16&version=NKJV
But when Jesus returns it will be noisy.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. - Revelation 1:7 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation1:7&version=NKJV
All will Him. No secret there.

3. Wicked raised after 1,000 years.
Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. - John 5:28-29 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John5:28-29&version=NKJV
There will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the evil.

4. Church will be in Heaven for 7 years
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” - Matthew 25:31-46 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew25:31-46&version=NKJV
Jesus will judge and separate those who have done good from those who have not done good.

Only in this life we have a chance to get right with God. Not during the seven year tribulation.

whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. - James 4:14 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James4:14&version=NKJV
Life is but a vapor.

5. Events on earth will continue after the rapture.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? - 2 Peter 3:10-12 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2Peter3:10-12&version=NKJV
But this world will be destroyed at His 2nd coming. So we must make sure we have obeyed the Gospel and are doing God's will.

The rapture is just a made up fantasy.

If you have not obeyed the Gospel then please obey today before it's everlasting too late.
