In Depth Bible Study: Standing on the Edge of Eternity Lesson 1

“There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and  fared sumptuously every day.But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with  the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. - Luke 16:19-21 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke16:19-21&version=NKJV
Lazarus carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. This is only for the faithful.

So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to  Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. - Luke 16:22-23 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke16:22-23&version=NKJV
This is for the unfaithful and those who never obeyed the Gospel.

Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you,  inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’And  these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” - Matthew 25:45-46 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew25:45-46&version=NKJV
The righteous into eternal life. The unholy into eternal condemnation.

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”:While the sun and the light, The moon and the stars, Are not darkened, And the clouds do not return after the rain;In the day when the keepers of the house tremble, And the strong men bow down; When the grinders cease because they are few, And those that look through the windows grow dim; When the doors are shut in the streets, And the sound of grinding is low; When one rises up at the sound of a bird, And all the daughters of music are brought low. Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way; When the almond tree blossoms, The grasshopper is a burden, And desire fails. For man goes to his eternal home, And the mourners go about the streets.Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it. - Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes12:1-7&version=NKJV
Remember your Creator in your youth. Before old age and death comes. No one is immune to this. Old age and death is coming for us all. And unfortunately in this fallen world death does sometimes come to the very young: accidents, disease, homicide or suicide.

I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all. - Ecclesiastes 9:11 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes9:11&version=NKJV
Death is coming to us all.

Childhood and youth go by so fast. We should all be careful how we live for God will bring all into judgment.
