In Depth Bible Study: Qualities of Love

does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; - 1 Corinthians 13:5 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Corinthians13:5&version=NKJV
Love thinks no evil. Is not resentful. Before resentment takes a foothold in our lives, let's bring all our thoughts captive to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We must be ever mindful of the things of Christ, not the things of the world (Matthew 16:22-23). And resentment is worldly, not Christlike at all. We must guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) against this deadly spiritual poison or it'll ruin our lives spiritually and cause us to miss out on heaven.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1John1:9&version=NKJV
Think of all the times God has forgiven us, and that should kill resentment for sure.
