Sacred Truth Friday: Doing Good
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Galatians 6:9-10 ESV

Galatians 6:9 says let us not grow weary in doing good, and Galatians 6:10 to do good to all, especially to those of the household of faith.
We, as Christians, must live different lives from the rest of the world. Do good to all, show mercy to those who have hurt us, be kind and generous to everyone we meet, spread the Gospel as often as we can, and have great patience under trials and with everyone.
When we find ourselves growing weary, it is time to pour out our hearts to God and lean on Him for strength.
“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah”
Psalm 62:8 ESV

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:29-31 ESV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
