Keep Zeal Alive: Controlling Our Desires

“You have heard that it was said  to those of old,  ‘You shall not commit adultery.’But I say to you that whoever  looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.If your right eye causes you to  sin,  pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.And if your right hand causes you to  sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. - Matthew 5:27-30 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew5:27-30&version=NKJV
For me this is hard hitting. Everytme I look at a man with lust I committ adultery in my heart. 

“Furthermore it has been said,  ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’But I say to you that  whoever divorces his wife for any reason except  sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery. - Matthew 5:31-32 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew5:31-32&version=NKJV
And divorce is permitted only in the case of unfaithfulness. 

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, - Ephesians 5:18 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians5:18&version=NKJV
I repent of my adultery in the heart. Let His spirit, His word, control me.

Chocolate Thunder from Down Under CHOCOLATE THUNDER from DOWN UNDER Outback Steakhouse Copycat Recipe Makes 16 Pecan Brownies: 1/2 cup butter, cubed 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate 1 cup sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate. Stir in sugar; cool slightly. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and pecans. Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Top brownies with vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
