Grace And Love Intertwined

This is the first Gospel Wednesday. Every Wednesday I'll be posting passages from the Bible relating to Jesus. And imploring you, dear readers, on Christ's behalf to be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20) through obedience to the Gospel.  We'll be going through the book of John. One chapter every Wednesday starting with the first chapter.  So to present the first Gospel Wednesday.  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In light of the Supreme Court's ruling I got to take a stand and abide by the word of God. The Supreme Court ruled gay marriage legal in all 50 states. America has strayed far from God and Biblical principles. America has turned its back on God. It's time to turn back and repent.  No matter what the Supreme Court's ruling, God's Word still stands. Homosexuality is still a sin, no matter the laws of the land.  So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. These verses really stood out to me. God sustains me. Gives me life according to His Word. When I'm in sorrow or worry His Word strengthens me and comforts me. His steadfast love and salvation continually flows to my heart.  I can't live without my beloved God. He died for me and I'll cling to Him until my last breath. Can't imagine my life without Him.
