He Left His Home Above

He knew it would be a bitter cross
Knew it would be only pain and agony
Still He came for all of us
All of us to set free

He left His home above
To redeem you and me

He's hung on the cruel cross
His blood is flowing down
The God who created us
Gave His life. His love abounds!

Mary to the grave she came
To mourn her Lord who was slain
The angels brought her joyous news.
He's alive! Her hope renewed

He bids all sinners to Him come
Offering abundant peace and pardon
He wants to give you a heavenly home

Strawberry Slab Pie Serves 16-20; 30 minutes active; 2+ hours inactive INGREDIENTS 1 (11 oz.) package refrigerated pie crust Filling: 32 oz. fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced 2 1/2 cups lemon lime soda (we used sprite) 6 oz. strawberry jello 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/3 cup cornstarch 1 tablespoon lemon juice frozen whipped topping or whipped cream, garnish Report Advertisement PREPARATION Preheat oven to 450º F.
